Independent app developer from Ghent, Belgium. I build small, fast apps that do one thing well — for Android and for the web.
Everything runs on private servers. No ads, no third-party trackers.
Keeps track of which plant needs water and when. You set a rhythm per plant, the app reminds you and remembers what you have already done. It works offline too. If you want, your plants sync across several devices using a garden code.
Site registration for contractors and installers. Workers sign in on their phone with a name and a PIN, then log hours, materials, tasks and photos per site. The twist: the app talks to a server you or your company host yourselves, on your own machine or NAS. Your site data stays in house.
El Loco Apps is the one-person workshop of Quinten, a developer in Ghent. By day I automate processes at a technical installation company: paperwork that would be better off as a button. The rest of the time I build apps for whoever can use them — a watering schedule for the home, a site log for the building trade.
The approach is always the same: start small, stay fast, and collect nothing that isn't needed. What I build runs on my own servers or on the client's, not on an advertising platform.
