SiteRegister privacy policy

SiteRegister is an app by El Loco Apps. It connects to a server you or your company host yourselves. Your site data therefore stays with you, not with us — unless you deliberately use our demo server.
What data, and where it lives
On your own server or NAS
- names and PIN codes of staff;
- sites, hours, materials, notes and tasks;
- photos of sites.
That data stays on your server or NAS, on the disk you choose. El Loco Apps does not see it and keeps no copy of it.
In the Android app
The device itself only holds the server address you enter. No account is created with us or with Google Play for your site data.
On the demo server
If you use sitereg.elloco.be, the same kind of data sits temporarily on that server. The demo is there to test with, not to work with: data on it may be wiped or overwritten at any time.
Technical
A server keeps standard logs with IP address, time and errors. These serve security and troubleshooting only. There are no ads, no trackers and no selling of data.
What it is used for
To keep hours, materials, tasks and photos per site for the company that runs the server. Nothing else.
Photos
Photos are stored on the disk or NAS you point the app at. El Loco Apps does not host them, except when you put them on the demo.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. The hosting and DNS provider for elloco.be may keep technical logs for the demo server and this website. Installation through Google Play follows Google's own policy.
How long data is kept
- On your own server: you decide the retention period. Note that in Belgium, working-time records generally have to be kept for five years.
- On our demo: as briefly as necessary, then deleted or overwritten.
Your rights and deleting data
If the data sits on your company's server, contact your employer or server administrator: they are the data controller and can view, correct or delete it.
For data on our demo or on this website, email [email protected]. You can request access, correction or deletion; this is handled within 30 days.
Not happy with how your request was handled? You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Children
The app is meant for adult professionals, not for children under 16.
Security
Connections run over HTTPS, signing in uses a PIN or password, and access is limited to the people the company allows. No system is completely secure: keep your server up to date and don't share your PIN.
Changes
This text may be updated. The date at the top shows which version applies.
